We found this chart which compares the number of days referred last year to this year - it really gives you a good idea how much things have slowed down since last year.

Once they finally get done referring the last of 2005, they'll be able to start on 2006 and from what we hear, there were a lot less dossiers submitted in 2006 than 2005. Hopefully that means the CCAA will be able to start referring closer to 15 days at a time.
Well, that's probably enough analysis to last you all a while!! Sorry for the dry stats, but sometimes it helps us get a clearer picture of what is going on and when we'll get to see Anna for the first time! Have a great weekend!!

I don't remember who said it, but I still imagine just one guy sitting in a room with paperwork up to the ceiling giving them his stamp of approval....one lonely paper at a time. Geez, that really puts it in black and white for me. Hang in there, hopefully things will speed up soon.
The CCAA is like molasses...Things can only get better, right?!!? That's what I keep saying, anyway. Yes, let's hope 2006 LIDs get referrals much quicker!!
